FrancordSoft is looking for a technical support engineer in our Monrovia, Liberia office to provide enterprise-level assistance to our government and private sector clients and to support our internal team. This position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting network, hardware and software problems as well as helping users install software. The ideal candidate for this position has good troubleshooting skills and knows JavaScript and basic programming in multiple programming languages.

Responsibilities
•    Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve issues
•    Escalate unresolved issues as necessary
•    Walk users through the appropriate steps to troubleshoot and resolve issues
•    Follow up with users to ensure the issue has been resolved
•    Prepare accurate and timely reports
•    Work with remote desktop applications and helpdesk software

Qualifications
•    2 years experience working in as a technical support engineer, IT help desk technician, or a related technical support position
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field 
•    Professional IT certifications are a plus
•    Experience working with government and private sector clients is a plus
•    Excellent communication skills
